Cox Enterprises is searching for a talented Apptio Application Developer to join their team in Atlanta, GA! We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Apptio Developer to join our growing Biz-OPS IBT team. The ideal candidate will have years of experience working with the Apptio platform, developing and maintaining budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning solutions, as well as integrating Apptio with other enterprise systems. In addition to creating and managing a self-serve dashboard and reporting solutions that empower organizational leaders to access and analyze IT financial data independently. This role combines technical expertise in Apptio's platform with a deep understanding of financial management to facilitate data-driven decision-making. As an Apptio Developer, you will play a crucial role in helping our organization drive financial visibility and decision-making through data-driven insights and process automation.

This is a 3-month W2 contract assignment with the opportunity for contract extension or to transition to a permanent, full-time role based on performance and business needs.
Responsibilities:
Responsibilities of the Apptio Application Developer:
- Apptio Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain custom Apptio solutions, including cost models, financial reports, dashboards, and workflows.
- System Integration: Integrate Apptio with various enterprise systems, including ERP, CRM, and other financial tools to ensure seamless data flow and accurate financial reporting.
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Develop and maintain financial reports, dashboards, and analytics within Apptio, providing insights into business operations and helping stakeholders make informed financial decisions.
- Configuration & Customization: Customize Apptio modules and solutions to meet the specific business needs and ensure alignment with organizational objectives.
- Automation & Process Improvement: Work with business teams to automate financial processes and improve the efficiency of financial planning and forecasting through Apptio.
- Testing & Quality Assurance: Perform rigorous testing to ensure the accuracy and reliability of Apptio applications, solutions, and reports.
- Troubleshooting & Support: Provide ongoing support to internal stakeholders for Apptio-related issues, troubleshooting, and resolving application bugs or performance issues.
- Collaboration & Communication: Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including finance, IT, and business operations, to understand requirements and deliver Apptio solutions that address business needs.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation for Apptio configurations, customizations, integrations, and processes.
Minimum Qualifications:
Minimum Qualifications of the Apptio Application Developer:
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Proven experience with Apptio, including configuration, development, and integrations.
- Strong knowledge of financial management processes, such as budgeting, forecasting, and cost management.
- Proficiency in Apptio’s various modules, including Cost Transparency, Cloud Financial Management, and Business Planning.
- Hands-on experience with Apptio APIs and custom report development.
- Solid understanding of enterprise architecture and integration patterns for connecting Apptio with other business systems.
- Experience with SQL, data analysis, and database management.
- Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP) and integration with Apptio.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex technical issues.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on delivering high-quality work.
- Strong team player with the ability to work independently when required.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
- A proactive and solution-oriented mindset.
- Ability to communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications:
Preferred Qualifications of the Apptio Application Developer:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience with Apptio TBM (Technology Business Management) module.
- Knowledge of financial systems like SAP, Oracle, or similar enterprise-level financial applications.
- Familiarity with business intelligence and reporting tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI).
